Mexicali's Women's Hospita (for men too)

Mexicali's Women's Hospita (for men too)

In Spanish it is called Hospital de la Mujer, which translates into Women’s Hospital in English. The thing about it is, the place is for men as much as it is for women. Jim had a blood test there (for his gout) and it cost about $60, compared to $600 back in the states. They confirmed that he has gout—so is he taking his pills? No!

It’s worth a long drive to Mexicali, right on the border, to save that kind of money. You’re gonna save on the way home, too—gas costs only about $2.40 a gallon in Mexico and the U.S. doesn’t care if you fill’er up there.

The hospital is the newest and most modern medical facility in Baja California. With giving comprehensive and thorough medical care for women from birth through adulthood and the place is super clean in a great setting.

Since 2006, the hospital has treated thousands of American patients, and has comfortable, private rooms, a coffee shop and restaurant, wireless internet, a chapel, satellite television, and a real fancy waiting area.

Super-clean patient rooms!

Super-clean patient rooms!

The hospital has 20 luxurious patient rooms. They are all private—no strangers snoring in the beds next to you.

The Hospital de la Mujer’s services cover just about all the medical needs of women, including gynecology, dermatology, pediatrics, several kinds of surgery like plastic and reconstructive procedures, and even family medicine—to name a few.

But, Jim wants me to point out that it’s not just a hospital for women. OK, Jim.

The services include gynecology, pediatric surgery, general surgery, dermatology, proctology, angiology, orthopedics, cardiology, obstetrics, plastic & reconstructive surgery, oncology, gastroenterology, urology, family medicine and more.

The Hospital de la Mujer here in Mexicali is spotlessly clean and modern. Jim went there for a blood test, which cost $600+ in the US, and only $60 at the Hospital de la Mujer,
Let us know what you think, and we hope everything turns out OK for you.
    God Bless,
    MaryAnn
